Hannah.jpg

Hannah Edwards

Hannah has been in the industry for 20 years, having managed either large teams of client facing planners and brokers, or until 2020, sat at the board table of a regional wealth manager as Director of Financial Planning, a department she founded in 2010.  Her successes have led to multiple professional awards, including the Worcestershire Business Women of the Year 2013, UK Investment Advisor of the Year 2019 and IFA of the Year for the Midlands and East Anglia at the Annual Professional Advisor awards for 2019 and 2022.

Hannah's Story

Managing Director and owner of Eva Capital Management Hannah Edwards still cuts an unusual figure within the world of wealth planning.

A UCL Honours Economics graduate, Hannah was always keen to follow in her inspirational late father’s footsteps. In addition, her grandmother; Eva was a Jewish war widow, whose late husband had fought for Great Britain in the Second World War but had died relatively young. Eva or “Nana Brown”; was a character, to put it mildly. She was the first lady on her street to wear trousers, but also had to make her financial cloth cut accordingly. Both these people helped mould Hannah into a business owner who wants to work tirelessly and passionately on behalf of her clients.

Giving back to the local community is close to Hannah’s heart. Hannah joined St Richards Hospice as a Governor in 2011 where she sits on several finance and investment committees lending much investment experience. In summer 2019, Hannah was invited to join the Kings School Worcester Development Trust as a trustee.  Hannah is currently Chairman of both respective investment committees.

When Hannah is not looking after her clients, she spends a significant amount of time on the rugby or football field cheering on either of her sons, Michael and Monty. Hannah also seeks to promote Christian principles in the workplace around kindness, generosity, and consideration for others.
